The government has also committed billions of pounds towards keeping people financially stable through these tough quarantine conditions. In case you were not aware here are some of the things that might be available to you:
Universal Credit
If you have fallen into difficulties then this is the first place you should contact, the online submission system makes things very easy at 'How to claim universal credit'. Enter your information and the system will check if you are eligible for support.
Local Council
The government have given £180 million to local councils to support tenants for rental payments, you can reach out to your local council to see if you meet the criteria for support. It should be noted that each local council have their own system, so first use the postcode search to find your councils details then reach out to them to find their offerings.
