Prime Minister Boris Johnson fired Michael Gove on the 6th of July 2022, a well respected MP and chief architect of the white paper released by the government called ‘A fairer private rented sector’. The man given the task of replacing him is Rt Hon Greg Clark who was given the job on the 7th of July 2022. He has inherited a huge task laid out in the white paper with the additional challenges of the current state of government.
